Gunsmoke Theme Music on Acoustic Guitar

My version of the theme music from the television show "Gunsmoke".  I've loved the music for years and finally got around to recording it.  All my recordings are amature recordings done with cheap equipment, but this one came out good I think.  This is my best production to date as far as quality of sound and musical production.  It sounds pretty much the way I intended it to sound, which actually happens rarely for me.

CHORDS:
It's played in E on this version.  Transpose to G to play it solo easier.
1. E;
2. Don't know the name of this chord, so I'll just map it: 6th strg, open E; 5th strg, C# 4th fr; 4th strg, F# 4th fr; 3rd strg, A 2nd fr; 2nd and 1st strgs open.
The intro toggles back and forth between these two chords, but stay on the bass strings.
When the melody begins:
1. E
2. #2 above
3. Another chord not named, but while playing #2, slide your fingers up two frets maintaining the chord form and open strings.  You would be playing 6th str E, 5th str D#, 4th str G#, 3rd str B, 2nd str B (on the open b string), and 1st str E open.
4. E
5. F#m
6.  B
Repeat 1 - 6
7. E
8. E7
9. A
10.  F#7
11.  E
12. G#m
13.  Aadd9 or just A
14. Bsus6 or just B
15.  E

"And Can It Be" on Classical Guitar

My name is Joel and this is my first post on this blog.  I'm opening up with one of my better videos (it's just audio with static visual), "And Can It Be", and old chuch hymn, played in classical guitar style.  If you like my playing and would like lessons I am currenlty available in the Macon/Warner Robins, Georgia, area.  I play and teach all styles, and I'm much more of a flat-picker than a finger-picker.  Leave a comment and I'll get in touch with you.

I have other blogs where I discuss religion, politics, etc.   Check them out if interested:
